Product Development - Electro-Optics

BANC3 engineers and scientists have extensive experience in electro-optical systems and actively conduct research & development in advanced optical weapon sight technologies.

To support our technical staff, BANC3 has assembled a sophisticated laboratory in Princeton, N.J., near New Jersey’s Route 1 High Tech Corridor. Utilizing this laboratory, BANC3 conducts applied research and development projects in electro-optics, image processing, and data analysis. Facilities include an optical imaging laboratory, an electronic fabrication work area, mechanical machining equipment, and extensive computing capabilities. Components include test and measurement equipment, optical breadboards, and a large inventory of electrical, optical, and optical-mechanical components. BANC3's R&D capabilities also include a milling machine plus other supporting equipment for fast in-house prototyping from design schematics.

The lab can also test and evaluate a variety of optical and electro-optical devices. The optical lab is capable of setting up a variety of experiments for evaluating, prototyping and developing Defense related devices and technology. Lab facilities also exist for electrical testing and prototyping including test and measurement equipment and high speed data acquisition capabilities. The lab’s engineering software includes Solid Modeling and Non-Sequential Ray Tracing tools.
