BANC3 was authorized by Veterans Administration Illiana Health Care System
to prepare the Environmental Impact Statement and Environmental Site Assessment
for the property located at 1900 E Main Street, Danville, IL. Danville Community
College, the leaser from VA, has proposed construction of 144-unit student
housing and additional parking to accommodate the facility. The purpose of
this study is to evaluate the potential environmental concerns on the parcel
of the land to be improved. The study area is 5.795 acres located on the VA
property of 220 acres.
The Environmental Impact Statement was performed in accordance with NEPA Part 1508.9 and Environmental Site Assessment was performed ASTM Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process, E 1527-00. Based on these investigations, the findings and recommendations were included in the reports.
