BANC3 performed this Surveying and Engineering Project for Ocean County under our On-Call
Survey Contract with Office of the Ocean County Engineer. Surveys were
performed along Lakehurst Road from State Route 37, south to the Garden State
Parkway overpass (+/- 7,000 LF) for a new paving typical section. Topographic
surveys and data collection were performed utilizing Ocean County's point
code feature table, noting all utilities, centerline of road, quarter crowns,
lane lines, curb lines and edge of paving. The field data
files, also, were saved in the *.RAW file format for Ocean County's use in
InRoads design/CADD software. BANC3 tied the project to NJ State Plane
Coordinates NAD 83 and NAVD 88 for vertical utilizing GPS, whereby Lakehurst
Road baseline control points were tied to NGS monuments. All base
mapping was prepared in the Microstation v.8 CADD format.
